FlipLip is an app to send funny videos to your friends through Facebook Messenger – that is, videos of yourself in costumes and speaking in altered voices, naturally.

The process of creating one of these videos is super simple. First you choose a filter from the 10+ different ones available. These filters range from a soft distortion of your face to cartoon costumes that make you look like a princess or a pirate.

Once you've chosen your visual filter, you then have to choose the one for audio. You have eight different sound filters that can make you sound like a robot, a macho man, or a fairy, among other things. That done, just press on the record button to create your message.
